Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Polyglot, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Polyglot is a language learning platform that helps users study vocabulary through interactive sessions. It is available as a web application at polyglothq.app and as a mobile application for iOS and Android.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use Polyglot. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Polyglot offers a free tier with limited daily sessions and a Pro subscription with unlimited access. Free plan limits are subject to change. Pro subscription pricing is displayed at polyglothq.app/sign-up/plan. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time and retain Pro access until the end of your billing period.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment details. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us within 14 days at joshua.p.kennedy@gmail.com and we will review your request. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.

You agree not to:

• Use Polyglot for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the service.
• Share your account with others.
• Submit false, misleading, or harmful content through any feedback mechanism.
• Attempt to circumvent session limits or other restrictions.

All content, design, and code within Polyglot is owned by Polyglot HQ unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce or redistribute any part of the service without written permission.

Polyglot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific learning outcomes will be achieved.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Polyglot HQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Polyglot after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will provide notice of significant changes via email or in-app notification.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
